Special guests in ZIK HIKE
Within the celebration of the 75 anniversary of the Nobel abwards ceremony to Gerhard Domagk the dean of the Medical Faculty Prof. Reiner Biffar and Mr. Valentin Schmitt-Lord, manager of the Bayer foundation visited the ZIK HIKE to learn about the multiple research possibilities and the high-tech equipment of the centre. Already during the last year a relation between the Bayer foundation and the ZIK HIKE had been established: Dr. Krystin Krauel had performed most of her research in our centre and had been honoured with the "Thrombosis Research Awards" by the Bayer foundation in 2013.
