• Meals normally at regular 2 hour  intervals, depending on blood glucose
  • Pause between meals (depending on blood glucose).
  • Preferably choose foods that impact blood glucose slowly.  This effect can be prolonged with fatty foods.
  • Avoid sweet beverage because of their effect on blood glucose. May be introduced at meal times on occasion - but give preference to "filling" foods.
