It is an innovative tool based on the immobilization of cells on special slides referred to as chips. With Chip cytometry, investigators can work at a single-cell level, with respect to morphology, expression profiling of biomarkers both at surface as well as intracellular levels.
Advantage: The chips can be preserved for up to two years without loosing the signal.
