This 48-year-old male was diagnosed with an aneurysm of the right middle cerebral artery, an aneurysm of the anterior communicating artery, and a distal aneurysm of the anterior cerebral artery as incidental findings. First, the large, forward- and downward-oriented middle cerebral artery aneurysm is clipped.
The postoperative DSA shows the complete closure of the middle cerebral artery bifurcation aneurysm. The patient does not display any neurological deficits postoperatively. The aneurysm of the anterior communicating artery and the distal aneurysm of the anterior cerebral artery were closed in a second operation via an interhemispheric approach.
